IMAGING DIAGNOSIS OF DISC HERNIATION - CASE REPORT

This is a clinical case report of Dachshund dog, known for having more prone spinal column to health problems such as herniated discs, due its long and low body. The animal was taken the veterinarian presenting difficulty in gait avoiding putting left front paw on ground. A computed tomography performed, which revealed presence discs various regions dog’s column. Initially, medication treatment prescribed, but presented paralysis legs side effects period use pain control medication, surgical intervention necessary. Physiotherapy recommended assist animal’s recovery.
